This presentation will include a review of AI and how it is affecting all of our lives in our day to day activities. It will then turn to the realm of architecture and explore the good and bad ways AI is interfacing with architects and architecture. Can AI be controlled and manipulated to satisfy certain specific architectural goals for health care facilities, or will it become so out of control that it begins to dictate our choices and makes our decisions? This course will explore both of these possibilities so architects can be ready to act and not just react to the implementation of AI in the practice of architecture.
