Mr. DuChene is a Principal and Senior Engineering Consultant in Terracon’s Facilities Division officing in Winter Park, FL. He provides assessment, remedial design, application, construction documents, construction administration, commissioning, and retro-commissioning of Building Enclosure (BECx) systems on commercial, governmental, and institutional projects. Mr. DuChene provides professional consulting in the preparation of property condition assessments (PCA’s) for commercial, multi-family, and professional properties and conducts building commissioning of new and existing commercial properties. Mr. DuChene also provides forensic investigation of the cause and origin of failures in the constructed environment including roofing, facades systems, windows, waterproofing, coatings, piping, and concrete. He has also been qualified in state and federal court as an expert witness for arbitration, and administrative, civil, and criminal litigation. Mr. DuChene received his Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Florida. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida. Mr. DuChene is also a Florida Licensed Asbestos Consultant.
