Lorena Knezevic

Lorena Knezevic is a licensed architect and design researcher at Gensler Miami, where she implements artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) in architectural design. Currently pursuing her Doctor of Design degree at Florida International University (FIU), she brings a unique perspective that bridges academic research with practical application to enhance architectural environments. Her current research focuses on equipping architects with the framework to consider the communication of design value in an evolving industry impacted by AI. Lorena holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Science in Architecture from the University of Miami, with her thesis on "The Architecture of Augmented Reality (AR)" leading her to participate as a panelist at the MIT Media Lab AR in Action Summit.
