Rod has 40 years of healthcare experience and oversees Lee Health facilities including four acute care facilities licensed for 1,865 beds, a 24-hour Emergency Center and outpatient services located in Coconut Point in Estero, Florida. He also oversees the operations of a Patient Care Center and a Skilled Nursing Unit for a total operational capacity of over 4.4 million square feet. Rod is responsible for the administration of all departmental programs and services relating to functional maintenance, system operations, and utility services. He provides and assures basic needs for the welfare, comfort, and safety of patients, visitors, and staff as they relate to maintenance, repair, operation, and modification of all hospital buildings, grounds, mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Rod is a member of FHEA, ASHE, ASHRAE, NFPA, RSES, and Florida Fire Marshall & Inspectors Assoc.
