Dagmar Bachmann is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in interior design with a focus in healthcare at the University of Florida (UF) in its college of design, construction, and planning. Dagmar, a native Austrian, has been working since 2021 as a healthcare design researcher for Gresham Smith. She specializes in guiding visioning workshops and applying design‑thinking methods to help interdisciplinary teams uncover and address complex challenges in healthcare environments. Her qualitative research approach drives evidence‑based design decisions that enhance user experience, improve safety and quality, and support the creation of thoughtful, well‑designed healthcare facilities that respond to the needs of their communities.
