The Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) establishes minimum acoustic requirements for healthcare environments, but meeting these criteria alone does not guarantee a successful acoustic environment. This session will explore how to translate FGI acoustic requirements into practical acoustic design strategies that support patient health and privacy.
