FGI, NEC 2023, and Florida Building Code 2026 Updates & Direct Impacts on Hospital Electrical Design
This session examines how the upcoming 2026 adoption of the Florida Building Code—along with updates to the Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) Guidelines and the National Electrical Code (NEC 2023)—will reshape electrical engineering and design in hospital environments. Rather than reviewing code changes in isolation, the presentation focuses on how these updates interact and drive real-world impacts on healthcare facility planning, infrastructure, and compliance.
