Tanya has been closely involved in many facets of the fenestration business. She has extensive experience with engineering analysis, product development, testing and certification of products including those for hurricane impact and bomb blast. She specializes in developing test proposals to certify their products to meet various codes and standards, as well as the submittal process for Florida Product Approvals FL’s, Miami-Dade NOA’s, and Texas Department of Insurance TDI’s. Tanya earned her first Professional Engineer license in 2007. She currently holds Professional Engineer Licenses in Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Maryland, North Carolina, Oregon and Washington. Tanya also chairs and participates in various industry related organization committees for ASTM, FGIA (AAMA), and The Aluminum Association.
